This course examined the historical, political, and pedagogical dimensions of didactic materials in Brazil. Topics included the textbook industry, authorship and design, state policies, and the role of teaching materials in both formal and non-formal education contexts. Students engaged in practical activities involving the analysis and development of educational materials, with attention to how design choices reflect specific assumptions about learning, culture, and educational purpose.
